Cicatriz

El lado salvaje del amor,
muchacho,
me lo llevo
en este último viaje
junto a un toque de morfina
y con la sensación
de ser una eterna cicatriz
que vaga por la ciudad

Scar

The wild side of the love,
boy,
I'm carrying with me
in this last trip
with a touch of morphine
>> and the sensation
of being an eternal scar
that roams the city

Camilo Brodsky Bertoni

The versions of silence: the rhythm of the palm
the internal rhythm
of the poem
the internal rhythm
the facade of rhythm
How does the silence
of the palm sound
zen when splashing
in the viscous liquid
of the severed artery?

XLII

XLII

The sky is not in sight: Only shivering
a reflection of something like the sky,
when the girl beside me
talks about her mother, the opera, the terrible
years of the military. And on her tongue
the benedictions and the Hail Marys all the time, because there is also
exaltation, the faith of the innocent, the pounding
of the fist on the chest: mea culpa. We toast,
simply to drink
we sanctify this laceration
in the emotion, lost as a boy
among lions in the dense atmosphere, the laughter, the light life
of the Café del Castaño
