W. Scott Howard received his Ph.D. in English and Critical Theory from the University of Washington. Scott designs, edits and publishes Reconfigurations: A Journal for Poetics & Poetry / Literature & Culture. His poetry and essays on contemporary poetics have appeared in many journals and books, including: Denver Quarterly; Double Room; Many Mountains Moving; Reading the Middle Generation: Culture, Community, and Form in Twentieth-Century American Poetry; Talisman; and The World in Time and Space: Towards a History of Innovative American Poetry in Our Time. Scott teaches in the Department of English and in the Digital Media Studies Program at the University of Denver, where he is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in English. Ginger Knowlton is a writer and artist whose work has appeared in publications such as Bravado (New Zealand), Double Room, 5_trope, the Bark, Marginalia, Many Mountains Moving, Reconfigurations, Segue, Swerve, Sentence, Tarpaulin Sky and The Evansville Review. She has received awards from the Academy of American Poets, Rocky Mountain Women's Institute, and the Berkeley Fiction Review, as well as a nomination for the Pushcart Prize. She recently served as writer-in-residence at Massey University, New Zealand, and she teaches at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her visual artwork is held in private collections in New Zealand and throughout the United States, where she is a member of the Eldorado Springs Art Center (Colorado).
